rob and i spent the past 5 days in chicago; it was a whirlwind. pictures will follow.
big thanks to mr. stv slv for putting us up for 5 days/4 nights of hot action. not like that.
to describe it in any amount of detail would require more effort than i'm willing to put forth at this moment. so let's sum it up with some bullet points:
"Lost" (the hit TV sensation on ABC) is like a drug
the islands put on a great live show, you should check it outbusdriver's dj was not as impressiveharold's fried chicken is delicious. try the hot sauce. the coleslaw is forgettable however, it's like a dixie cup of mayo garnished with shredded cabbagetamales from the traveling tamales guy are awesome. especially with a high lifedropping your digital camera on the lens while the lens is extended will not prolong its life, and actually, will end its life right then and there. think about that one.just because graham smith is late doesn't mean graham smith won't performkaraoke gets better the later it gets. and we all sing better the more we drinkthere is a smooth-music revolution going on in chicago that i never even knew about. i've never listened to so much TOTO before in my lifethe chris ware exhibit at the museum of contemporary art, while brilliant and fantastic, is also a bit overwhelming. the man can write so smallgrilled chicken with boursin cheese on a pretzel roll is DEEELICIOUSone cat is funny, two cats are hilarious. one of those cats being fat is even hilariousierH&M has quality clothing at competitive pricessmoke-free bars are the bee's knees. coming home from a bar with stinky clothes is the bee's ASSHOLE
