2. oriental wok, no matter how long they tell you it will take, will be at your door in about 20 minutes.
3. i'm almost done with medical school. this means intern year looms. this means that i will match in one month (about). rank lists are in, fingers are crossed.
4. the last exam i have to take in medical school is in 3 weeks. all i have to do is show up and not fail. so far this past week i've shown up, and i can definitely tell that my motivation level is rather sub-par. so what, i showed up. working 6 days a week blows, no matter how you slice it. unless you have chuck's job.
5. i can text message charles in london and it doesn't cost extra (that i've noticed so far). this opens up a whole new world of

5.(b) seriously considering a june holiday in london before intern year begins.
6. leaving the olympics on mute all day long does not mean you'll get anything done just because it's on mute.
7. i enjoy watching team USA women's ice hockey, apparently. especially if they're trouncing the german team.
8. i enjoy hearing the countless superlatives on olympic commentary. "the most decorated athlete in the men's luge." "the most decorated nation in ski jumping." "the most decorated american olympian in super-g." or whatever. everyone gets a superlative. the most decorated superlatives in olympic broadcasting history, ever.
9. i can run 8 miles in 68 minutes while its snowing. the plan is to get 8 miles in an hour or less. i have no idea how long that could take. also my knees burn for about 6 hours after i wake up the day after the run. probably not a good thing. or maybe a sign that i need to TRY HARDER.
10. sentry hands out free sunday papers if you spend $5. nice. kinda sad that i'm excited about this. see #1.
11. ooh. gotta go. men's snowboarding is on. the most decorated snowboarders, ever.
