(i got angry again).

so i've been hearing a lot about how it's fishy that the exit polls were SO wrong - giving nearly every crucial state to kerry, but all of them going to bush (so far, EVERYTHING that's been faulty - exit polls, electronic voting machines, etc - has erred on the side of giving bush the presidency. coincidence? i call bullshit).

dick morris wrote an interesting article for the hill on nov 4, saying that the fact that the exit polls were so wrong simply can NOT be due to plain old human error, and i agree. although morris argues that the polls were manipulated by pro-kerry exit-pollsters trying to suppress pro-bush turnout in the later timezones, i think it's actually a show of how the pro-bush local administrative/election officials/voting machine manufacturers manipulated vote counts to be pro-bush.

of course i'm biased.

hey! 51% of america! WE ARE GOING BACKWARDS. thanks alot. sorry, everybody.

slim,

1. you said "we"! does this mean you're on our side now? AWESOME
2. yes, i am upset, but it's true - i don't REALLY believe all the exit poll fraud business. i was just saying, if dick morris says it's there, i'm going to go with the theory i posted above, rather than a left-wing conspiracy to suppress turnout (i never believe any party's story that the other side will feign a victory so as to depress the opposition's turnout. that never made much sense to me. if i hear "landslide victory for bush", my ass is going to get out and vote and do all that i can, not stay at home and be sad).
3. the mirror's rant is more humorous than anything. their front page and editorial read like a very angry blogger.. except that it's a major newspaper in the UK. which makes it great.

i read that the 18-29 demographic voted 55%-40% in favor of kerry. that's very reassuring. the only demographic to vote that way. and every single district in madison went to kerry by at least a margin of 10% (greater than 50% along the isthmus - woo westwash!). so at the very least i eat and sleep amongst the faithful.. which helps with the nightmares.
